• Consultation as a subject expert, including workshops and lectures, for healthcare professionals about the assessment and management of excessive illness behavior
• Consultation and testimony as a subject expert in legal cases of medical deception, medical fraud, medical malpractice, medical child abuse, or psychological conditions in which excessive illness behavior is alleged.
• In-depth case review, report writing, and testimony in legal cases of medical deception, medical fraud, medical malpractice, medical child abuse, or psychological conditions in which excessive illness behavior is alleged.

Process

I welcome inquiries from patients, families, health care providers, health educators, health insurance managers, and attorneys who have questions or problems related to excessive illness behavior. An initial no-charge telephone or video conference will be arranged to help determine if I am able be of service. If so, I will provide a copy of my CV and a description of service document, a copy of which I will ask the client to sign and return to me. All services conducted at my office will be billed hourly and work away from my office will be billed by the half-day. For legal cases, all work must be pre-paid, beginning with a retainer to cover the first ten hours of work.
